Calcium Gluconicum Farmapol

Tablets.

1 tablet contains 45 mg of calcium ions in the form of 500 mg of calcium gluconate (Calcii gluconas).

States of increased demand for calcium, e.g. during periods of intensive growth in children and adolescents; during pregnancy; during breastfeeding; during convalescence. States of calcium deficiency in the body as a result of, for example, absorption disorders; increased calcium deposition in the bone tissue. Treatment of osteoporosis of various origins (also preventive), treatment of tetany. Supportive treatment of allergic diseases (e.g. urticaria, bronchial asthma, vascular oedema); inflammations (e.g. diseases of the airways, throat); fractures of bones; bone demineralisation.

Adults: 1-2 tablets 4 times a day. Oral use. It is recommended to take after a meal, with water.

Hypersensitivity to calcium gluconate, other calcium salts, or to any of the excipients (potato starch, talc, sodium carboxymethyl type-C starch, magnesium stearate). Hypercalcemia, e.g. in patients with hyperparathyroidism, hypervitaminosis D, myeloma or cancer of bone metastases, severe hyperkalciuria, renal failure, taking high doses of vitamin D.
